Mel is portrait and landscape artist from Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia. Mel's original contemporary oil paintings are painted using traditional painting methods capturing modern portrait subjects and Australian landscape.

Her artworks have been exhibited across Western Australia and her award winning realistic paintings have been popular across the Western Australian Goldfields.

Mel also produces contemporary resin abstracts, which are popular commissions. Her resin artwork is featured in many collectors' homes and businesses.

Mel currently paints in her studio opposite native bushland in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
